A presentation of recent writing experiments that explore the idea of “environmental translations” from architecture, conceptual literature, and studies in the science of perception.

David Gissen is the author of books, essays, exhibitions and experimental writings and projects about environments, landscapes, cities, and buildings from our time and the historical past. He is a professor at the California College of the Arts, San Francisco and Visiting Professor at Columbia University, Graduate School of Architecture, Planning and Preservation.
