Paul Eberwine (Classics) and Lucas Prates (Anthropology) organized their IHUM Salon entitled, Sovereign Materials: Tragedy, Extraction, and the Settler Colonial Mindset. The salon was staged as an interactive dialogue between contemporary Amazonia and Greek tragedy.  Using 3D printers in the  Makerspace and virtual reality headsets depicting Amazonian life, attendees were able to learn and experience each of their projects.
