Bio/Description
Sophia Millman is a Ph.D. candidate in the Department of French and Italian and a fellow in the Interdisciplinary Doctoral Program in the Humanities. She writes on the history of feminism, cultural gerontology, film, and photography. She also serves as the book review editor at Simone de Beauvoir Studies.
As a Cotsen fellow in the spring of 2024, she collaborated on the digital humanities-based course “Surrealism at 100.” She has also collaborated with graduate students and faculty to teach “Introduction to Gender and Sexuality Studies” and introductory French courses with the Prison Teaching Initiative. She works as a graduate fellow at the Writing Center and is always looking for new writing partners.
